Ohio Adopts 4 Worldwide Constructing Codes

The state of Ohio has adopted 4 of the 2021 Worldwide Codes together with the 2021 editions of the Worldwide Constructing Code, the Worldwide Mechanical Code, the Worldwide Plumbing Code and the Worldwide Current Constructing Code.

The choice comes after cautious consideration by the Ohio Board of Constructing Requirements, stated Code Council Chief Government Officer Dominic Sims, CBO.

“Adopting these I-Codes® helps modernize Ohio’s constructing regulatory system, helps progress in manufacturing and improves the well being and security of Ohio cities,” stated Dominic Sims. “We applaud Ohio’s Board of Constructing Requirements for prioritizing and leveraging constructing codes to guard public security.”
